So he was glad for a break when the text came in. Blanche was winning, since Spark couldn't tell the difference between Flareon's shadow from Eevee's. Meanwhile, Blanche and Spark were playing Who's that Pokémon on Spark's phone. Candela snapped a quick picture on her phone and sent it to the two inside the tent. The scene before them was completely ridiculous, so they settled for quiet giggles, trying not to alert the camp of their presence. The tent was a disaster, surrounded by their worried Pokémon. When they finally reached camp, they had to force themselves from bursting out in laughter. "Hold on tight!" were her only words as Arcanine rose on its legs and began to run to camp, where Blanche and Spark were waiting. Then Rocky grabbed Candela's hands to pull himself up, sitting right behind her. ![]() He gulped nervously and returned his Sandslash to its Pokéball. It knew that Candela had been through a lot because of Rockardo's teammate, and gave a warning growl before allowing the said trainer to climb on. "Climb aboard then!" Her Pokémon gave him a long, hard look. "Alright then!" she cheered as she jumped back on Arcanine. "Yeah, I've got time since Kieran & Lily aren't expecting me until later." Rocky shrugged. "Oh, could you?" That was incredibly nice of him. "Well, if you want, I can help you get them out," he offers unexpectedly. "Oh, they're back in camp, having tent problems," she giggles, bringing out her phone to show him the texts. "Speaking of teams, where is Blanche and Spark?" he asks, looking around. "Although Spark did want to get here by a sleigh pulled by a team of Pidgeys," Candela muses aloud. "Don't underestimate us just because we don't helicopter ourselves to places." "Ah, well I know now," Rocky nods in agreement, feeling a little embarrassed. "And let you guys catch Kabuto first? I don't think so!" She chuckled. "I'm just surprised to see that you're here already! I thought for sure you guys would arrive by tomorrow." "I'm just scouting the area and setting up traps," he explains, shifting from one foot to the other. "You first," she says, not willing to tell him that she was out hoping to find Kabuto first. "Oh, hey Rocky." Candela replies, looking at him in surprise. ![]() "I thought I heard you laughing!" he grins as he walks up to her. "Huh?" She looked up from her phone to see Rockardo and his Sandslash emerge from the foliage. Oh, you guys, she thought fondly as she texted back, 'Don't worry! I'm on my way back.' Anxiously, Candela opened her messages, only to roar with laughter at the picture Spark sent her. ![]() "Woah, there." She got Arcanine to stop for a moment so she could pull out her phone. I mean, they should be able to defend the camp, but even so.Ĭandela heard her phone ring, notifying her of an incoming text message. Was the camp under attack? Did Spark manage to disturb the wild Clefairy living nearby? Or even worse, find a nest of Beedrill?! These thoughts preoccupied her mind as her fiery Pokémon raced through the woods. It had only been 10 minutes since Spark sent her pictures of the tent, which, by the way, looked pretty bad. I wonder what could've happened, she thought worriedly. She sent Pidgey back to camp and climbed on her Arcanine's back to follow. The little bird Pokémon seemed pretty agitated when it found her, hopping around and chirping in panic. Shout out to TimothyWells7 for For the help! DĬandela had gathered enough firewood by the time Spark's Pidgey found her. Was the last chapter too much? Oh well, here's the next chapter.
